However, I also have weaknesses. For one thing, I"m stubborn and a little impatient. I"m sometimes lazy as well and can spent a whole day just watching TV and eating junk food. I"m not ashamed to admit these bad pints. Knowing what they are lets me focus on improving myself.

每次和别人谈起自己的优点，我总是羞涩中又带着一丝自豪。我认为我的优点主要有两个，一个是自立，另一个就是爱看书。
随着生活水平的提高，现在的孩子都成了父母掌心的宝贝，大多娇生惯养，被父母养成了“小皇帝”和“小公主”，可我并不是这样的，我跟别人截然相反。我的爸爸妈妈平时都要在外面工作，都非常的忙碌，无暇顾及我的生活起居，所以我小小年纪就要学会照顾自己啦。尽管不用自己做饭炒菜，打扫家里的卫生，可是自己的房间却要自己负责收拾。我每天早晨起来第一件事，就是要先把被子叠好，然后才能洗脸刷牙吃早饭，去学校。放学回来时，我的爸爸妈妈还没有下班，此时我就面临着是先看电视、玩电脑，还是老老实实写作业这两种选择，天性爱玩的我当然无条件选择了前者，玩得有点忘乎所以的我在几次被父母发现并且挨了揍的情况下，被迫选择了写作业，不过时间一长，后来也渐渐养成了习惯，每天放学回家第一件事就是写作业。
另一个优点就是我自己养成的了，喜好阅读。小时候的我，就喜欢缠着妈妈或者奶奶，要听她们讲故事给我听，后来上学了，能够认识基本的汉字了，我就会自己翻看一些简单的故事书，年纪再大一点，我就会去新华书店蹭书看。渐渐地长大了，我意识到自己也不能老在书店看书，于是我向妈妈求了一件礼物——一张市图书馆的借读卡。妈妈知道我爱看书，也爽快地答应了我，有了这张卡，我像捡到宝一样，几乎每个周末都要去图书馆看书，经常就是一泡就是一下午，舍不得离开。刚开始的时候，我喜欢看日本漫画书，后来又开始对国内的一些军事研究解说感兴趣，书中的文章大多都是通俗易懂的，因此我每翻阅一本书都会爱不释手，看得津津有味。
由于我对书籍痴迷的缘故，也闹过不少问题。印象最深的一次是，我按照老师的要求借阅了一本《水浒传》，读得如痴如醉，对书中的人物分析得透彻，结果如此沉浸在其中的我忘记了一个月的归还期限，超期了三十天，为此还被父母教育了一顿。
没错，这就是我，我的优点就是自立和喜好阅读!
