同学们：
自１８３１年英国科学家法拉第发现发电的原理以来，在不到两百年的时间里，电已经成了人类不可或缺的重要能源。
作为祖国未来的建设者，我们应当从现在起树立节约能源、保护环境的观念，养成节约用电的好习惯。为此，我向同学们发出以下倡议：
一、学习电的知识，了解我国电力紧张的现状，探索火力发电与环境保护之间的关系，认识到节约用电的重要性和紧迫性。
二、从身边开始，从自己做起，做好节约用电随手可做的十件小事：
出门时随手关闭电源；阳光充足时不要开灯；使用浴霸或电热水器洗澡时动作要迅速，不边洗边玩；减少开关冰箱的次数，存取食品后尽快关闭冰箱门；尽量使用太阳能产品和节能灯泡等节能家电；不要无休止地听音乐、玩电脑游戏、看电视等；夏天空调温度不要设置得太低；减少发短信的次数，尽可能地少用电话聊天或问作业；每天１８∶００至２２∶００是用电高峰时段，尽量避开用电高峰使用空调、电加热器等高耗能家电；在家里装修时，建议爸爸妈妈安装双层玻璃，减少热（冷）量的损耗。
三、积极宣传节约用电的重要性和意义。看到浪费电的行为及时劝阻，让更多的人和我们一样懂得节电的重要性，共同节约电资源。
同学们，让我们携起手来同心协力，节约每一度电，减少一份污染，保存一份资源。
