从家乡搬出来已经很久了，家乡的一些景象已经记不下来了。
有一天，我爸爸对我说：“儿子，明天我们去你奶奶家。”我高兴得睡不着觉。 第二天，我坐着爸爸的车，一边欣赏着途中的景色，一边听爸爸讲述家乡的情况。 以前的家乡既小又贫穷，唯一昂贵的就是我家里的老式收音机，但这不算什么，关键是人们的环保意识十分差。由于人们没有养成环保习惯，坑坑洼洼的路边到处堆满了垃圾。什么食品袋呀，旧衣服呀，破自行车呀，什么都有，人往旁边一走，都得捂着口鼻，眯着眼睛，弯着腰快速的从它旁边跑过。垃圾还滋生了许多细菌，这就为许多蚊虫提供了“好的环境”，人们一走过，蚊子、虫子立刻蜂拥而出，好像再给你举行隆重的欢迎仪式。以前的小河垃圾很多，从食品袋到腐烂的水果一条干净的小河就这样被污染了。河里的鱼不见了，孩子们也不在河里游泳，大人们也不再在河边洗衣、聊天，人们走过小河都有一股难闻的气味。涨水的时候，河里的垃圾有的被冲上田岸，有的被河水冲向远方，有的却挂在树梢上，好像在给树打扮似得。以前的路是用黄泥铺的，下起雨来坑坑洼洼，车走过就会给旁边的人一个“免费淋浴”。
不知不觉我已经到了，眼前的景象让我大吃一惊：一条平坦的小路顿时展现在我眼前，路再也不是坑坑洼洼的，路旁边的垃圾也不见了，取而代之的是一个个环保小卫士——垃圾桶——人们都自觉地把垃圾丢进垃圾桶。我立刻走到小河边，哇!河面上的垃圾没有了，鱼又在河里无忧无虑地打水仗呢!辛苦劳作的大人在河边的大树下休息、乘凉，一阵微风吹来，一股清新的空气迎面扑来，沁人心脾。
看到这些，我禁不住问爸爸：“家乡为什么变化的这么大呀?”爸爸说：“这都是政府的政策好啊!” 是啊!这都是政府的政策好，是政府让我们过上了好日子。我爱家乡，更爱清洁美丽的家乡。
